So today was the day I’ve dreamed about my whole life. I have planed and worked so hard for this day over the last 5 years or so. I have worked my last day for someone else!
I’m not saying the owner of the business was someone bad to work for because out of all the owners I’ve known of almost any type of business the owner of the company I’ve been working for was a model entrepreneur. What I’m saying is I’m finally living the dream I had worked up in my head back in November of 2002 when I sat down with a Gentleman by the name of Miguel A. Curl Sr. and understood the power of running my own business and being an entrepreneur.
I want to dedicate this day especially with fathers day coming up this weekend to my father! The man who believed in me so much he would cut me down just to get me more motivated…(if you knew him you would understand…lol) I wish he was here to see this but fortunately for him he is in a better place. So today…June 17th is what I’m going to call Husker Day in memory of my dad.
On another note I am Ford Free!!! For those of you who don’t know I’ve had a ford for the last two months or so and in two months put four different alternators and three batteries on it… So I’m glad to say I’m Ford Free!!
I watched an older episode of “Undercover Boss” that my mom had dvr’ed and it kind of touched me in a way I never thought a tv show could. I realized in one hour how important it is to focus on helping other people. It doesn’t matter if its lending someone a hand when they need help or paying for someones food when they look like they are worried if they can afford to eat off the dollar menu at Burger King. Focusing on other people is a must. I am now asking for everyones help in that if you see me being selfish and doing just for me please slap me in the back of the head and ask me “Who are you trying to be Willie?” (Don’t Ask)
All that said today has been a great day and I hope everyone has enjoyed it as much as I have! Have a great night and please don’t forget those less fortunate and remember Always …Stay Boosted!
