What I Need Before We Start
If you are on this page, you have trusted me with your brand. Whether you are having me help you with social media, SEO or building you a website there are a few things I need you to know.
First off, there are a few things that I need from you. Depending on what you are having me do, you will find each of the itemized lists below.
What you need to know when working with me.
Communication is a MUST!
I can’t complete your project without communication with you. There will need to be an open line of communication between us so that I can get what I need from you in order to give you the service you deserve.
If I do not have a good form of communication with you I am not held liable for any work not completed by our agreed timeline. If I don’t have content from you or answers to my questions I cannot complete the task at hand.
Website Design
There are a few things I need from you if we are partnering to create a website for you or your business/brand.
Domain & Hosting
I need you to have a hosting account and a domain. If you are unsure of this process please feel free to use the video tutorial here. It will walk you through click-by-click the entire process to sign up for, what I believe to be, the best hosting company. (This does suggest an affiliate link. Meaning if you sign up with my link I may receive compensation)
Content
If you are wanting a professional looking website the main key to that is content. Industry to industry what you will need will change. I will inform you if you need anything additional but the main needs are…

Logo
This needs to be a professional logo. No disrespect to you or your pets, but a picture of your beta-fish is not a logo. It needs to be at the absolute minimum a png file with a transparent background. Other files that I can work with are .eps, .pdf, .ai & .psd. (if you do not have a logo please let me know and I will work with you to either design one for you or put you in contact with a designer to create you one based on your budget)
Images
Don’t worry I do not require you to have all of your own images (Unless you are a photographer) but some things I will. I ask that if you are in a specific industry that you don’t use stock photos as your own work.(I shouldn’t have to say it but it’s better to be safe.) If you do not have your own images you can hire a photographer, use stock photos (find more info on stock photos here) or try to get some quality shots yourself.

Social Media
When it comes to social media marketing and consulting it is basically per case. So I cannot tell you what I will need without knowing more about your business. (industry, target market, goals, etc)
Search Engine Optimization
Similar to social media, search engine optimization is never the same for all businesses. If we are working together I should have already done some research to see your competition and have done a website evaluation. This should give me a good idea of what you need for SEO. If there is anything else that I should need from you I will be contacting you with that request.
