Wake Up Time: 5:30
Spent the first few hours of the morning priming and planning out my day.
If you are not familiar with priming I’d suggest that you start. Priming is the process of taking 15-30 minutes each day and getting your mind & body into the state of execution and gratitude. It’s all part of a Mindful Morning (check out the blog post).
I’ve been obsessed with priming for a little over a year now. I put together 2 resources to help myself. The first is an audio recording of Tony Robbins that walks you through the daily priming process and the second is the “Priming Planner“. I use both almost every day.
KanBan Task Of The Day: Final Blitz ChallengeTouches
Aside from Walnut (my pitbull pup) not wanting me to record today, I had postponed the recording of the trainings today because I found I needed to make some changes in OBS as well as making a new audio tag intro.
I also had to work on a navigational section on the individual module pages as well as get it linked up properly for each of the seven modules.

Thought Of The Day: Focus Forward
Moving forward with my journey of documenting instead of creating I wanted to get back to more mindset type of stuff. So I thought I would start sharing the “Thought of the Day”.
I decided on the thought of “Focus Forward” as the first thought of the day because it is such a small phrase but means so much.
When you are going through life there are a lot of things in your past that calls your attention. The question is if you allow those things to steal from your future.
No matter what you are doing, if you force yourself to focus forward you can find yourself being more productive. Losing focus on where you are headed can cause you to not reach your goals.
Everything you do needs to have the intent to help you move forward. I’ve been obsessed with the five second rule over the last few weeks. I changed what Mel Brooks meant with the initial breakdown in her book.
Basically, when you approach a decision, big or small, take five seconds and ask yourself three questions…
Will this will move you forward?
Does it support your long term goal?
Would you be proud of this decision?
Then you wrap up with one last final question…
Does this contribute to my overall happiness?
After all, when you focus forward, the main focus should be happiness. If you are not always focused on being as happy as possible, there is a good chance that you are going to have some negative thoughts ruin your day.
