For those of you who do not have the privilege of knowing who Jim Rohn is or what he stood for I hope you use these next few days listening and watching as much of him as possible. Simply because He may change your life for the better…For Ever!!!
Jim Rohn born September 17, 1930, died this last Saturday December 5, 2009.
I do not have all the facts but I would like to take this time to send my condolences to his family.
A quick story then I’ll let everyone go on with there day/night.
10 years ago if you would have told me that I would be sitting here typing a “letter”(yeah its a blog it would have been called “letter” or “journal” back then) about a motivational public speaker who had just passed away because of the effect he has had on my life, I would have called you crazy!!
I do not understand what all other people have witnessed in life changes from the teachings of Jim Rohn, simply because I do not know how I went from the person I was to the person I am and I owe ALL of the changes in my life to personal development.
When I was first introduced to personal development it was… Me and two cd’s
C.D. #1 was Tony Robbins on Faith
C.D.#2 was a burned copy of the Jim Rohn on Network Marketing seminar…
I would spend almost 85% of my time listening to these two cd’s and in a short two weeks I was able to quote the cd’s word for word from beginning to end!!
I’ll be honest I went from “Borderline suicidal” to “The Stay Boosted Guy” and I give all the credit to Jim Rohn and Tony Robbins.
All that rambling to say this…
We as a community, lost a very important person and I can only hope that one day Everyone understands the message that Mr. Jim Rohn was trying to spread across the world.
