As we get closer to the new year, I know a lot of you are starting their goal setting for 2022, if you haven’t already.

I’ve had a few discussions about “resolutions” and things like that over the last few weeks.
Along with other factors, it’s caused me to really dig into a bigger (high-resolution), detailed, picture.

So I’ve broken down my goals and want to kind of share them publicly for accountability purposes.

When it comes to “New Year Resolutions” I’ve always had a base that I’ve used since I was in the military.

“I WILL DO BETTER AND BE BETTER THIS YEAR THAN I WAS LAST YEAR!”

This always works for me because I can put that on anything and it is what I aspire to do.
But, there are details that are missed, and the details matter!

This year I’ll be celebrating 40 years alive on this planet. I’ve always been goal-oriented but for some reason, I’ve never included the details needed to reverse engineer the steps.

I’ve also never sat down and written out at the beginning of the year a complete roadmap of where I want to go.
So after almost 40 years …. Here goes. (I have all the fine-tuned details listed in my own AirTable goal base I don’t think you all need those)

There are two things I want to talk about before I get to the detailed part of the “resolutions”.

MY WORD OF THE YEAR: INTENT

If my actions are done with intent I WILL REACH MY GOALS. So everything that I do in 2022 I will do with intent.

Daily Goal for 2022

CELEBRATE EVERY WIN FOR WHAT IT IS!

Be grateful for what you have and how blessed you are. I have electricity, running water, internet… acknowledge the fact that you are allowed to do what you do.

BE GRATEFUL THAT YOU WAKE UP EVERY DAY THAT YOU DO!

Now, let’s get to the “RESOLUTIONS”

First things first, my health. Nothing else matters if I’m not healthy. This is just as much my mental health as my physical AND spiritual health.

The next thing is going to be my relationships.

I need to be a better husband to my wife. I need to be a better son, brother, cousin, uncle, and friend.

My resolution for business is simple…

TAKE THE GLOVES OFF & OPEN THE GATES

(I’ve been building a machine for months and piece by piece, welcomed or not, it WILL launch & I CANNOT WAIT! No, you don’t know …lol)

My Business Websites:

Inspector Branding

HostYak

SaevusX

The last thing is my music.

The focus here is my 40th BIRTHDAY… FEBRUARY 17, 2022. I’m going to be launching the ONLY project for 2022 and possibly MY LAST music project “1982: The Book of Lock”

So as much as possible, when I can squeeze the time in, I need to market this project and try to get as much traction as I can.

Knowing that I was going in this year to have the dental work done, I approached this project as it was my last.
There are 7 total tracks that I chose to add to the album, one of which I’ve been writing for over 10 years.

I had plans for a 16 track album but time caught up to me and I didn’t get the chance to record them all before I went in for my procedure.

So, the likely FINAL PROJECT FROM S-LOCK1982: The Book of Lock” tracklist is …

1. Quitter’s Mindset

2. Back To It (Feat. Yak)

3. This Life

4. Just Another Day

5. Day One

6. End of Days (Feat. Yak, and SirTalksAlot)

7. Made In 82

While it’s not a “full-year” resolution, I want to take some weekends and work on music/lyric/visualizer videos for EVERY song. It’s likely that I don’t get everything done by the time the album launches but I will do all I can to push EVERY SINGLE SONG on the album.

This is some of my best work and if it is going to be my last, I want to give it every opportunity to be heard.

I’m sure I can sit here and continue to come up with other goals for the year and more to share, but this is all I need to share, except one last thing … a motto for 2022…

Say what you need to say and shut up!

It is the key to communication.

Be Great & Stay Boosted!

Talk Soon,

CJ
